Advisory Fees & Relationship Structure

We believe advisory fees should be transparent, straightforward, and aligned with the value of the relationship we build together.

Our fee structure reflects not only the assets we manage, but also the depth of planning, long-term partnership, and, in many cases, the broader relationships we build with families over time.

The sections below outline how advisory fees are applied and how they may evolve as relationships grow.

All client relationships begin within our Private Wealth Management structure.

Road through the Rockies

Private Wealth Management

As relationships grow, whether through asset consolidation, long-term planning, or expanded family engagement, we believe advisory fees should naturally reflect that deeper level of partnership.

These adjustments occur over time, aiming to ensure your advisory fee remains aligned with the depth of your relationship with our firm.

Multi-Generation Relationships

When we have the opportunity to work with multiple members of the same family or household, we take a more holistic view of the relationship and price it accordingly.

Each individual account continues to be priced based on its own asset level, but benefits from a more favorable fee schedule that reflects the broader relationship we’ve built together.

This allows us to support multi-generational relationships while maintaining a consistent and transparent structure across all clients.

Key Client Relationships

From time to time, we work with clients who play a meaningful role in the growth of our firm by thoughtfully introducing us to family members, friends, or colleagues.

We are deeply grateful for the continued trust and confidence these introductions represent. When a relationship expands in this way over time, we believe it is appropriate to recognize that contribution over time.

In certain situations, the referring client may qualify for a more favorable advisory fee structure, reflecting the broader scope of their relationship with our firm. This consideration applies specifically to the referring client’s advisory relationship, while referred households are evaluated independently and may qualify for their own relationship-based pricing over time.

Important Disclosure:

The advisory fee schedules shown above apply solely to investment advisory services provided by our firm. Additional costs may apply depending on the investments and account structure utilized. These may include, but are not limited to, custodial or platform fees, transaction-related charges, and fees associated with certain investment vehicles such as separately managed accounts or mutual funds. Brokerage services, insurance products, and other financial solutions may also involve commissions, fees, or compensation structures. All applicable costs will be fully disclosed and discussed with you prior to implementation and are separate from the advisory fee schedules presented here.

Fee Calculation Methodology

Advisory fees are calculated using a tiered (or marginal) structure. This means that different portions of assets are billed at the corresponding rates within each tier, rather than applying a single rate to the entire account balance. As a result, the total advisory fee is a blended rate across all tiers, similar to how tax brackets function. Crossing into a higher or lower tier does not change the rate applied to assets in other tiers.

Example of Private Wealth Management Tiered Fee Calculation

For example, a $2.5 million account would be billed across multiple tiers:

  • The first $250,000 at 1.25%
  • The next $750,000 at 0.95%
  • The remaining $1.5 million at 0.80%

This results in a total blended advisory fee of approximately 0.90% across the full account balance.

This example is for illustration purposes only. Actual fees will vary based on account size and applicable tier structure.
